About Me

I know most people skip the About page — so if you’re reading this, just know I appreciate you already. πŸ’—

Welcome to Glow Bloom — your cozy little corner of the internet dedicated to skincare, haircare, and all things glow-up. My name is Sarah, and I’m the girl behind this blog. I’m in my 20s, deep in my “figure it all out” era, and Glow Bloom is my way of romanticizing life while surviving it.

I started this blog because I needed a space to document my journey — the beauty wins, the skincare fails, the nights of self-doubt, and the small victories that come from showing up for yourself. I’m not a dermatologist, an esthetician, or a hair guru — I’m just a girl who’s spent way too many late nights deep-diving into Reddit threads and YouTube routines trying to get her skin to calm down and her confidence to glow up.

I also have PCOS, which means that my skin and hormones are on their own chaotic schedule — and that’s made this journey extra real. If you’ve ever stared at your reflection wondering what more you could possibly do, or if you’ve cried over a breakout that just wouldn’t go away… I see you. I’ve been there. And I wanted to create a space that doesn’t pretend perfection is the goal.

Glow Bloom is about sharing what’s working, learning what isn’t, and growing together. From drugstore holy grails to haircare routines that actually work, I share the real stuff — no gatekeeping, no fluff. Just what I’m learning in real-time, and what’s genuinely helping me glow from the inside out.

But beyond skincare and beauty tips, Glow Bloom is about self-love, self-discovery, and softening into the person you’re becoming. It’s about reclaiming your confidence, finding your glow, and creating little rituals that make life feel just a bit more magical.

Whether you’re dealing with hormonal skin, trying to revive your curls, switching up your routine, or simply looking for inspiration to level up — you belong here. I’m so glad you found your way to this space.

We’re all just trying to bloom in our own time. 🌷
So let’s glow through it together, babe. πŸ’–
